hi i am a glass major at RISD. i have ambitions to someday become a pipe artist but my school does not support this type of art. i am not being educated enough in the field i am interested in. could someone please point me in the right direction. i have tried to get apprenticeships and have been turned down, not many artists want to share their secrets, i understand. but i am only looking for the basics and i will take it from there. if anyone has any info please email me:

check out the GLDG.com... there is a link in the link section... you can find a lot of info on blowing glass there... good luck!

I love the diversity of artists on the site, keep raising the bar. When is Matthew Chase putting out a photo-book?

definitely a tight site, bearclaw looks like kiefer sutherland with dreads lol. can't wait for the documentary............

Wow, Nice site! Great layout, very contemporary! Good use of Pictures on the main page - smooth flow. The work is absolutely amazing!! It makes me realize how far I am from my goals, but gives good motivation to get out in the shop and spark it up. Thanks for posting these images!! It's kinda funny, when I first got started in glass, my ultimate dream was to make a line of replica guns... it looks like someone else had that same idea :D Anyone that wants to part with a headdie piece at a reasonable price can hit me up - always looking to expand the collection. thanks!!

big ups to PAKOH for being the Gatekeeper of the site!!

That public freeze piece is INTENSE . I would have loved to be there in or just there , and see in person the reactions and thoughts just kickin in heads . WOW

THANKS FOR THE PROPS! I ENJOYED WORKING WITH A LOT OF U AND EXHIBITING AT THE EFFECT! IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT AND I MADE A LOT OF CONTACTS AND NEW FRIENDS. JAMES OLIVER AND US MADE HISTORY THAT NIGHT. IT STILL AIN'T OVER TILL OUR VOICES ARE HERD IN PHILADELPHIA. I BELIEVE WE ARE THE NEXT TOP ARTISTS IN OUR NATION. I LOOK FORWARD TO PUTTING EVERYONE ON MY RESUME AND GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE! PEACE AND LOVE, ENDERS.

I have a question to why the urinal bubbler is signed R.Mutt instead of PAKOH?. I am just curious thanks.

"The Fountain" by marcel Duchamp is a urinal turned on its side and Signed "R.Mutt". This famous piece of art was inspiration for my work, hense the bub was signed "R.Mutt".

IT'S ESPECIALLY HARD TO PEE SIDE WAYS WHEN THE URINALS ON IT'S SIDE. IT'S EVEN HARDER TO READ R. MUTT AND CENSOR IT. THE 1TS ONE GOT DISTROYED IN THE WAR. CHEERS, ENDERS.

Theres some dope artist on the site. how do I get in contact with the artist if I want some work done?!? plz let me know

very uncomfortable. Thanks to all the artists on this site, if it were not for you personas, i would not be who i am today,

this site has come so far.. Sick sick site pakoh.. the glass artits represented on here are so insane.. live free

artits... lol

it's been a while since i have been here i and i am very fortunate to have returned. this site houses some extremely fantastic work. i am familiar with the glass pipe movement as far as my involvement and studies now for nearly 7 years, and this site captures some raw artistic instinct that brought me to this art form to begin with. its like discovering that i am walking and why i am all over again. all the art is sick, not just the glass, doop soup propos to ainta artists.

i havent been on here in a while.. sites rocking.. i love that zach guys work.. crazy stuff..

Simply Amazing!!!

How do I go about getting my art on here ?
